Flags!
Girls, we are in charge of putting up and taking down flags for Labor Day. We will meet at the church at 7 Am and split up through the neighborhood. Everyone's attendance is much appreciated as it will make the job get done faster. We will meet again at 7 PM to take the flags down.
Fast Sunday Reminder
Just a reminder that this Sunday is a fifth Sunday and a Fast Sunday. We will be meeting with the Young Men during the third hour. Also, the next Sunday is Stake Conference. :)

Post-a-monies
Tonight for our activity we made "post-a-monies", our Mormon version of postsecret.com, where we made post cards that had pictures and statements about our testimonies or the Young Women values. You can see the "post-a-monies" on our Personal Progress page. Those that participated were able to use the activity as a "write-in" under Divine Nature. It was great to see every one's creative side and get a feel for their talents and testimonies, and we had a good time making the post cards! Thanks, girls, for sharing your talents with us. :)

The "Why" for the Blog
Dear YW, and YWs' Parents,
We have created this blog to help you know what is going on in the Hobble Creek 13th Ward Young Womens Program. We will be using it to send reminders, report on activities, post pictures, and share our experiences. We invite you to be an active participant by making comments, writing your own posts, and checking it regularly. We hope to have important things like calendars and links to resources (as well as the personal blogs of our young women) also available to you here.
As Bishop Burton said in the ward newsletter a few months ago, we need to be using technology for righteous purposes. This blog, we hope, will help to unite us as a ward young womens' group, be a forum for sharing experiences, and build our testimonies as we share our feelings about the gospel. Again, we invite you to help us in those goals by being an active participant. If you have any questions, please leave a comment and we will get back to you. YW, as you post, please be sure to sign your name and add your name as a label at the bottom. If you are a guest, please sign your name with your comment.
